Hi, I want to welcome you to big church. Never in my life have I been so excited about what God is doing in our time with the realization that I was born for such a time as this.
This is the driving force and heartbeat of big church. It began with a vision that was put in the heart of my wife and over 20 years ago when we both had life changing encounters with Jesus Christ. Through the years our love and passion for Him has grown and we have seen His hand do many miracles and even in the midst of great opposition and trial, as we have trusted in Him, Jesus has been mighty to save. We know that all we have gone through until now has prepared us for what is about to unfold.
We believe it is our divine moment in time to see the church of Jesus Christ, a glorious church, in this generation, one this nation has not yet seen. To join ranks with others to see a multitude no man can number of great force and strength, a people with an unquenchable love and passion for their one true Saviour, Lord and King.
One by one, those who have encountered the transforming love and power of Jesus and whose lives are given to see the multitudes come to know the only one who can truly save.
We see a mighty army who will not turn back but will fight to the death with the heart of their king.
Jesus our King has gone before us in this battle and has conquered hell, death and the grave, delivering us from every fear and all the power of the enemy. Out of His Father’s great love for us he gave His life on the cross for the sins of the world so that we could be free. Free to live the life He intended for each and every person. A victorious life full of love, joy, peace and power to save a lost and dying world all around them.
And He has commanded us to go and win our world, making disciples of every nation, teaching them to observe all He has shown us and He will be with us, even to the end of this age.
So I ask you, will you go. This mission from God will cost you all that you are and all that you have. But I tell you… eye has not seen, ear has not heard the things that God has prepared for those who love Him. Seize your divine moment in time, carry the torch that has been passed to you for this generation and run the race that has been set before you, keeping your eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith, the beginning and the end.
