At big church., people believe that becoming like Jesus Christ is the ultimate life goal and happens best in a small group setting where good intentions become great actions.
In living rooms, coffee shops and workplaces around Barrie and the surrounding areas including Orillia, people are gathering regularly in small groups to create a caring community and become the church where they live, work and play.
What is a small group?
A small group is a group of people who regularly meet to grow in their relationships, experience spiritual formation, and engage in activities with a mission. Each small group has a leader that will create a safe environment for people to share true feelings and ask tough questions, grow deeper in their relationship with God and one another, and be challenged to live for God’s ultimate purpose.
Small groups meet together according to shared likenesses - such as gender, life stage, work, areas of service, or major life events
