What are “devotions”?
“Devotions” is a term that is given to daily study and fellowship with God. It is simply devoting yourself to God each day.
Why do we need to do devotions?
It gives you knowledge of the Bible.
Study this Book of the Law continually. Meditate on it day and night so you may be sure to obey all that is written in it. Only then will you succeed.
- Joshua 1:8
It is what makes a relationship with God.
You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment.
- Matthew 22:37-38
It is critical for repentance (cleaning out sin).
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

It is emotional and spiritual therapy.
He (God) is the source of every mercy and the God who comforts us. He comforts us in all our troubles…

It multiplies your time.
Reverence for God adds hours to each day.

It is warfare against the enemy.
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes.
