Dear friends and members of the Pentecostal Fellowship:

 

    Greetings to all in the name that is above every name! 

   

    We trust that you have had a very fruitful and blessed summer, and that the fall holds tremendous promise of blessing and favour.

 

    As a board, we have continued to seek the Lord concerning the future of the fellowship, and wish to communicate to everyone how we have been led.  We recognize that "in everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under heaven".  We are so grateful for the time we have walked together these last several years; for leadership we shared under Mark Woodley, and the fellowship that we have enjoyed with each other.  God has blessed our journey together, and we honour Him for that.

 

    Seasons do come to an end, however, and new seasons begin.  Sometimes it is a struggle to change with the seasons, because we like the one we are in, or we feel we have not finished what we wanted to complete in that season.  This is how it has been for us on the board.  Because we value our relationship with each one who has walked with us in the fellowship, and because we wanted to steward very carefully the trust that God has placed in our hands for each of you, it has been difficult to acknowledge the obvious shift that has taken place.  Our apostolic leader is no longer at the helm.  All of us had rallied around his vision, and without another visionary leader to take his place, we cannot go forward.

 

    Each member of the board has searched our own hearts diligently, and each one separately has come to the conclusion that God is not asking them to step into that primary leadership role.  In light of this, we are affirming what has been previously communicated to you that as of September 30th, 2007 our fellowship as it stand will be disbanded, each credential holder will need to connect with another organization if they need to be registered.  Greg Neuman will finish things off with the government, banks, etc. and will be available if you have any practical questions regarding tax receipts, etc.

 

    We wish to express our thanks to all the board members for their sacrificial involvement over the last several years, and we also pray a rich blessing on Elaine Woodley, and Laura and Dan Osmon as they continue to press into what the Lord has for them.

 

    Finally, we want to pray a blessing on all of you, and to commit you to God "who places every member in the Body where it pleases Him".  We trust that He will lead you to the exact place He has called you to serve, and that you will prosper and increase in every way.  We bless you families and your ministries, and we now release you to the One who "authored" your faith, who will also finish it.
